Apparently, Gywneth Paltrow thought should could "reinvent" divorce when her and Chris Martin split. The truth is, divorce is hard and I have never seen a magic bullet that can make the divorcing couple friends immediately afterwards.
Point being, I think you need to be realistic and appreciate you may not be "friends" with ex husband right away or ever.
