We have been retained by Malaina Broumand to fight against frivolous charges the government has filed against her in a criminal indictment.
Her husband, Babak Broumand, is a retired FBI agent who was one of the top counter-terrorism agents in the FBI. He has been indicted for corruption related to his not declaring gifts from a government snitch while acting as the FBI handler for that snitch.
Now, the government is attempting to extort his wife by charging her with an unrelated mortgage fraud charge. Their goal is clear, to scare Mrs. Broumand into turning on her husband. The government has gone too far with its frivolous indictment and Paul Nathan intends to prevail at trial.
