In 2005, actress Demi Moore married actor Ashton Kutcher. In November 2011, the couple announced that they were getting divorced after rumors that Kutcher had an affair with a 22-year-old on the night of his and Ms. Moore’s sixth wedding anniversary. Mr. Kutcher filed divorce papers in December 2012. Ms. Moore finally filed her papers on March 6.
Demi Moore, who was once the highest-paid movie actress in Hollywood, hoped to settle the divorce through confidential agreements, but has gotten tired of being unable to reach a settlement with Mr. Kutcher. The California divorce can now go to trial.
According to the Huffington post, Mr. Kutcher and Ms. Moore disagree on the role the marriage played in furthering Kutcher’s career. Before the marriage, Kutcher was best known for his role in That 70’s Show. He also produced and hosted Punk’d on MTV. After marrying Ms. Moore, Kutcher became one of Hollywood’s leading young actors. At 35, Kutcher is now the highest-paid actor on TV for his leading role in "Two and a Half Men.” Kutcher earned $24 million between May 2011 and May 2012.
Kutcher is currently dating his That 70's Show co-star, Mila Kunis. Kutcher and Moore have no children together.
This is Ms. Moore’s third divorce. She was previously married to singer Freddy Moore. The couple divorced in 1984 after four years of marriage. In 1987, Ms. Moore married actor Bruce Willis. The couple had three daughters. They divorced in October 2000.
Moore is currently co-starring with Dakota Fanning in the film Very Good Girls.
